Smoothie recipes with yogurt?

My inlaws are coming and I wanted to make them some good fruit smoothies in the afternoon. Do you know of any good recipes that use yogurt instead of icecream? The fruit can be fresh or frozen. Thanks - I really want to impress.Smoothie recipes with yogurt?
Basic Smoothie Info:

• All smoothies have a basic formula which is about ½ Liquid, ½ Solid

• Liquid should be Juice, Milk, Soymilk, or possibly Water ( water not recommended)

• Solids should be Frozen Fruit, Frozen Yogurt or Sherbet, Ice, or possibly Frozen Ice Cream (ice cream not recommended)

• Nutritional powders usually do not add volume, but some proteins will “expand smoothies”

• Fresh Fruit (not frozen) will blend up like a liquid (like fresh banana)

• Often times, milk and soymilk can be bland which means they may need a sweetener like honey, or possibly sugar ( sugar not recommended) For every 10 oz of milk, one oz of honey should be enough.

• Ice is not a necessary ingredient, and actually smoothies are more flavorful without ice, but some people prefer an icy texture. Ice should only be 20% of a smoothie maximum, otherwise the smoothie will taste “watered down” which means a sweetener will need to be added.

• If a smoothie appears to be “Too Thick”, keep adding liquid until the consistency is right.

• If a smoothie appears to be “Too Thin”, keep adding frozen fruit until the consistency is right.

• When you get your formula “Just Right”, make sure to write it down for next time.

Basic Dairy Smoothie Formula:

50% Liquid (fresh banana can be considered liquid)

20% Yogurt or Sherbet

20% Fruit

10% Ice

Basic Non-Dairy Smoothie Formula:

60% Liquid (fresh banana can be considered liquid)

30% Fruit

10% Ice

Other tips:

• For recommended smoothie formulas, go to http://www.xtremejuice.com , look up the smoothie ingredients, and apply them to the basic Dairy or Non-Dairy formulas.

• When buying juices, check the label. 100% Juices are the healthiest. Look for a brand called “Juicy Juice”, they make many flavors, and they are always 100%.

• If you like banana flavor, brown spotted bananas have the most flavor. That is why they are used in banana bread.

• If you freeze your fruit yourself, you may want to put it in a ziplock bag to avoid freezer burn. Also, frozen fruit is usually good for up to a year.

• If your water isn’t so great, consider using filtered water. This can make a difference in taste.

• The price of a blender can range from $30 to $1000. The best commercial blenders cost $1000, but they will blend around 80,000 times before having problems. The best blenders on the market in my opinion are made by Vita-Mix: http://www.vitamix.comSmoothie recipes with yogurt?
* 1/2 cup of your favorite fruit, such as peaches, bananas, pineapples, strawberries, mangos, etc.

* 3/4 cup of yogurt

* 1 cup milk

* 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

Peel the fruit, if appropriate, and cut them up into small pieces.

Put all of the ingredients into a blender and puree them together until smooth.

Pour into a chilled glass and serve with a straw.

Keep in mind that you may have to add ice or use frozen fruit if you really want to serve it cold.

Also, a banana may be needed to get the smoothie to the right consistency (thick and creamy).
This is a very tasty recipe try it!

blackberries,cherries,red raspberries and peach (all frozen) , stwraberry yogurt,orange juice and some ice, then blend in the blender until blended,
For each person, use a 6oz container of vanilla or any flavor, really. Add 1/2 banana per person, some ice cubes, and milk. Blend till smooth. Top with whipped cream and a cherry/strawberry.
i love using dannon light and fit yogurts bc they are only 40 cals. i mix vanilla with mixed frozen raspberries and strawberrries and sometimes put in a little chocolate syrup.
I use plain yogurt with orange juice and for fruit I put in bananas and strawberries. If kiwis are in season I throw those in as well.
