Greek Yoghurt Dip








1/2 kilo strained yoghurt 1 cucumber 4 garlic cloves (more makes it with stronger taste) salt oil vinegar





METHOD


Grate the garlic and mix it with salt and vinegar. Peel the cucumber, grate it and squeeze it until all its water is removed. Put the yoghurt into a bowl and add the cucumber into it. Then mix the yoghurt with the mixture of grated garlic. Whiz the content until all the ingredients are well mixed. Add some oil. Yoghurt dip can be served in a normal temperature but it is rather prefered cold.Need recipes for dips, but without mayo or sour cream?

Depending on how much you need, you can double, triple, etc the


recipe...








What you need:





1 lb sausage (Regular or Medium is best)


1 can Rotelli tomatos and Chillies (Regular)


4 pks cream cheese





What to do:





Fry the sausage and drain.


Then put the sausage, the rotelli and the cream cheese in a crock


pot.


Stirring occassional, cook on high til cheese is melted and its good


and warm.


When done, turn to lowest temp to keep it warm - stir occassionally.








Cranberry Sauce Spread


Ingredients:


1 8oz. Pkg. cream cheese, softened


2 Tbls. mayonnaise


陆 cup chopped pecans


1 16oz. Can jelled Cranberry sauce


Instructions:


Mix all ingredients鈥xcept nuts鈥?until well blended. Add nuts and mix.


Spread on crackers or celery or etc.


Use as dip with chips.
Baked Pizza Dip








Prep: 5 min Total: 25 min





1 tub (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Spread


1 tsp. Italian seasoning


1/8 tsp. garlic powder


1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided


1/2 cup pizza sauce


2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper


2 Tbsp. chopped red pepper





BEAT cream cheese and seasonings with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Spread on bottom of 9-inch pie plate. Top with 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese and peppers.





BAKE at 350掳F for 15 to 20 minutes or until mixture is thoroughly heated and cheese is melted. Serve with STELLA D'ORO Breadsticks.





Makes 10 servings





Great Substitute:


Substitute 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce for pizza sauce.

Velveeta Cheese Dip





2 teaspoons vegetable oil


2 medium onions -- (chopped fine)


2 green bell peppers -- (chopped)


3 tomatoes -- (chopped coarsely)


2 cloves garlic -- (minced fine)


2 banana peppers


1 can pimento -- (chopped fine)


2 pounds Velveeta cheese





Cook minced garlic in cooking oil, push aside. Cook onions until soft and then add green pepper and banana peppers.





When banana peppers start to soften, add tomatoes. Cook until soft. Then add pimento, garlic, oil, and Velveeta (cut into small pieces). Cook over very low heat until cheese is melted.





Serve warm with chips, crackers or tortilla chips.




















Bacon And Swiss Cheese Dip





8 oz. cream cheese


1/2 cup ranch salad dressing


4 oz. swiss cheese, shredded


2 Tbs. green onion slices


8 bacon slices, crisp-cooked, drained and crumbled


1/2 cup crushed buttery crackers





In a small saucepan, combine cream cheese, ranch dressing, swiss


cheese and green onion slices. Heat until cheese is melted; stirring


constantly until smooth. Place in a small bowl. Sprinkle with bacon


and crushed crackers. Serve with whole crackers. Makes 2 cups














Cottage Cheese Sun-Dried Tomato Dip





2 cups cream-style cottage cheese


1 green onion -- cut 4 pieces


1/4 cup green pepper -- finely chopped


2 tablespoons oil-pk tomatoes -- chop fine


2 tablespoons fresh basil -- or


2 teaspoons dried basil


2 teaspoons lemon juice


1/8 teaspoon cracked pepper





Combine all ingredients in blender; process until smooth, stopping once to scrape sides.





Serve with green, red and yellow pepper squares or other fresh veggies.





Yield 2 cups

















CREAMY HORSERADISH DIP #1


Yield: 1 Servings





1 pk (8 oz) softened cream


Cheese


1/4 c Chopped green onions


1/2 c Kraft real mayonnaise


1/3 c Horseradish sauce


1/4 c Chopped green onions


1 cn (6 3/4 oz) chunk ham,


Drained flaked





Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise and horseradish sauce, mixing until


well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Chill. Serve with


vegetable dippers or chips. VARIATIONS: Substitute 2 1/2 oz package


smoked sliced beef, chopped, for ham. Substitute 4 crisply cooked


bacon slices, crumbled, for ham.

















Hot Philly Dip





Serving Size : 4





8 ounces cream cheese -- softened


1 tablespoon milk


1 tablespoon horseradish


1/4 teaspoon pepper


6 1/2 ounces crabmeat


2 tablespoons onion -- chopped


1/2 teaspoon salt





Mix everything together. Cook at 375 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes. Serve with crackers, etc.
For a real kick at parties try a tapenade:


Tapenade Recipe





1/2 pound pitted mixed assorted deli Greek/Italian olives


2 anchovy fillets, rinsed


1 small clove garlic, minced


2 tablespoons capers


2 to 3 fresh basil leaves


1/2 squeezed lemon


3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil





Thoroughly rinse the olives in cool water. Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor. Process to combine, stopping to scrape down the sides of the bowl, until the mixture becomes a coarse paste, approximately 1 to 2 minutes total. Transfer to a bowl and serve with crostini or crackers.
this ones good for tortilla chips- layer in small casserole or other walled dish...one pkg cream cheese, one can chili, and one can nacho cheese soup(Campbell's Fiesta Nacho Cheese soup is what I use- undiluted!) bake in oven at 350 for about 25 minutes
gwacamoley(i dont know how to spell it right) is a dip i love its basicly just artichoke but you can throw in a whole bunch of other stuff that you would like!

You can substitute cream cheese for anything that uses sour cream.
1 small block velveta, 1 jar favorite salsa, 1 lb. hamburger





Brown hb melt velveta stir all together
A brick of Cream Cheese and a small jar of Picante Sauce.





Mix them together and chill





Use with Veggies or Taco Chips.
