I'm looking for some good one's. Maybe something on the stovetop.Dessert recipes without using a oven?
No Bake Rocky Road Bars

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup butter, melted

1/3 cup water

1/4 cup butter

15 oz. pkg.dry milk chocolate frosting mix

1 cup miniature marshmallows

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

PREPARATION:

Combine graham cracker crumbs and 1/4 cup melted butter in a small bowl. Press into bottom of a 9'; square pan. Set aside while preparing filling.

In heavy saucepan, combine 1/4 cup butter and water and heat to boiling.

Add the dry frosting mix (Jiffy brand is best - be sure the boxes add up to about 15 ounces) and blend well. Remove from heat and let cool slightly, about 4 minutes. Stir in marshmallows, pecans, and chocolate chips and spoon onto graham cracker crust. Cool completely and cut into pieces to serve. If you can't find the dry frosting mix, you can make this with the canned, or tub frosting. Omit the water, 1/4 cup butter, and the dry frosting mix. Melt a 12 ounce package of chocolate chips in a small saucepan. Remove from heat and add a 16 ounce tub of prepared milk chocolate frosting and beat until smooth. Fold in marshmallows, pecans, and chocolate chips and spread over graham cracker crust; let cool completely and cut into pieces. 25 bars

You could do a chocolate pie. Just make your favorite instant pudding (vanilla, chocolate, etc.) and let it chill to set up. You can make the pudding a day in advance. Take a ready made graham pie crust and fill it a little bit with melted chocolate with a little bit of melted butter mixed into it. Chill in fridge until chocolate is hardened. Pour pudding into pie crust and smooh it out. Top with Cooll Whip or make your own whipped cream. Garnish with chocolate shavings and a sprig of mint in the center. Keep it in the fridge until ready to eat. I hope this helps you out. Happy cooking!
Here's a real easy one:

Fruit Mousse

lemon or strawberry curd (purchased would be easiest) You'll need about 1 1/2 cups

3/4 cup heavy cream

1. To make whip cream beat until stiff peaks form, try not to over whip or it will get lumpy and you will have butter instead. (Note: having a chilled bowl will help alot)

2. Add cream to the curd in 3 batches, gently folding until just blended.

Divide into 4 long stemmed glasses, serve with a dollop of fresh whip cream on top and a candied violet. If no violet then a nice leaf or 2 of mint will do.

Hope this helps! :)
***********TWINKIE PUDDING DESSERT

1 box Twinkies

1 box vanilla pudding

1 cup milk

1 can cherry pie filling

1 large cool whip

Cut Twinkies in half, layer in bottom of pan. Mix pudding according to directions. Pour over twinkies. Add cherry pie filling and finish with cool whip.

Refrigerate before serving. Great for kids to make!

********BANANA AND STRAWBERRY PUDDING

1 box of Jello French Vanilla Instant pudding

1 box of Jello Banana Cream Instant pudding

milk

1 large container of Whipped cream

3-4 ripe bananas

1 small carton of strawberries

1 bag of the cheapest vanilla wafers (they stay crunchy longer)

The amount of layers depends on the dish it is prepared in. I use an 11x9 in. glass casserole dish.

In a bowl combine both boxes of pudding mix and prepare according to the package directions omitting 1 cup of milk.

Fold half of the whipped cream into the pudding mixture. Now make a layer of vanilla wafers on the bottom of your casserole dish (none of the wafers should be on top of one another), then slice bananas over the wafers until you get an even cover but you should still be able to see the first layer.

Now slice strawberries over the bananas. The next layer will be the pudding. Start over with the vanilla wafers, continue layer up to the pudding.

After you've applied a layer of pudding, line the sides of the pan with wafers. Take the rest of the whipped cream and spread it on top.

Crush the remaining wafers and crumbs, and then sprinkle them on top of whipped cream.

Optional: Garnish top with strawberries.

************CREAMY STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE

2 pkgs. instant French vanilla pudding

1 container Philly Strawberry cream cheese

1 container EXTRA creamy Cool Whip

Mix the pudding with half of the milk required on the box. Place all ingredients in a bowl and MIX BY HAND. DO NOT USE A BLENDER! Serve over your favorite shortcake and strawberries and enjoy.
Try Bananas Foster. Recipe is below.
Chocolate mousse.

Melt 300 gr of dark chocolate with two table spoons of butter in ';bain marie';( fill pot with water place it on the stove to heat at medium temperature, then place other smaller pot with the chocolate and the butter inside the first pot- this will help keep the chocolate from burning). Scramble 10 egg yellows and when they are kind of foamy mix the melted chocolate when it has cooled down a bit( the butter will keep it liquid), then '; beat 7 egg whites till they are solid. Spoon by spoon put the hard whites inside the chocolate and mix slowly. When all is mixed and there are no undissolved pieces of egg white, put in the fridge overnight. It's super.
Poach pears and berries in a simple Beutiful color.and good dessert.

Simple syrup

1/4 cups sugar

1/2 cup water

boil
fruit wraps -

water, flour, egg, salt, a tea spoon of oil

* mix together and you should have a smooth mix.

(this is kinda like pancake mix but lighter)

preheat the frying pan

pour a thin layer of the mix into the pan

it doesn't take too long for the mix to cook, flip after a min or so.

do the same to the other side and there you have a wrap.

when you have your wrap ready, chop up pieces of fruits and place on wrap. i personally prefer peaches and banana.

lastly, add a spoonfull of whipcream and close the wrap.

hope you enjoy this!
chocolate covered strawberries .. you can buy like a package of bakers chocolate for melting or any kind that you like and heat it up on the stovetop or even in the microwave .. then just pour it over strawberries (or bananas, pretzels, whatever)

you could also do strawberry shortcakes which require no cooking at all .. just get the little cakes and put whipped cream in and a strawberry on top
There's an excellent cheesecake recipe that doesn't need heat at all -- just a freezer and a little bit of time.

Take one package of cream cheese (12 oz.) and one small can of sweetened consensed milk (8 oz.) and blend it well with a couple of teaspoons of lemon or lime juice. Then if you want, add some fruit (canned pineapple is great in this!) and put it all in a pre-made graham cracker crust. The crusts come with a plastic top, so then cover it and freeze it for a few hours until it's relatively solid, then enjoy!
Here's my fav:

(really cute if you layer it up in a wine glass)

Buy Ladyfingers or pre-made angel food cake at the store. Cut up some fresh fruit (some kind of berry mix) and coat in sugar. Let them sit for about 20-30 minutes to create a sweet syrup. In a desert bowl or cup, layer cake, berry mixture along with syrup, and top with a spoonful of whipped cream. No cook recipe that is fresh, super sweet, and very pleasing.
Try this.

Get a box of peanut butter Ritz Bitz and some of the white candy bark coating in the baking aisle at the grocery store. you can melt the coating in the microwave. Dip in the Ritz and let them cool on wax paper. They're addictive!
