What are some good lunch or dinner recipes for a picky 4-year-old?

Easy Cheesy Slow Cooker Chicken


6 boneless chicken breast halves, without skin


salt and pepper, to taste


garlic powder, to taste


2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup


1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup





Rinse chicken and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix undiluted soup and pour over chicken in a Crock Pot. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.








Cheeseburger Macaroni


1lb. Hamburger


1 box macaroni and cheese


录 cup milk


2 tbsp. Butter


1陆 cups shredded cheese (your choice)


(Optional) Mushrooms, onion, green peppers, chopped





Prepare macaroni and cheese according to box directions. Brown hamburger in a separate skillet, drain grease. Combine macaroni mixture and hamburger, add milk and butter, macaroni cheese packet and shredded cheese. Mix well to combine.








Bubble Pizza


2 tubes biscuits


1 lb hamburger, browned


2 cup shredded cheese, can use 1c moz and 1c cheddar


1 jar pizza sauce


Preferred pizza toppings





cut biscuits into quarters and place in a 9x13 baking pan, stir in all other ingredients and bake according to biscuit tube directions








Hens in a Blanket


1 (9 ounce) package chicken breast tenders


1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls


Cheddar cheese slices





Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Unroll crescent rolls; separate into triangles. Top each triangle with a chicken tender and slice of cheese. Roll up, starting at wide end. Bake on a cookie sheet for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Variations: Use Swiss or pepper jack cheese, saut茅ed onions, peppers, etc.








BAKED BEAN CASSEROLE


1 lb. hamburger


8 strips bacon


10-12 hot dogs


Busch's baked beans (large can)


1 sm. Jar relish


2 squeezes of ketchup


陆 bottle barbecue sauce


2 squeezes of mustard


Garlic powder


Seasoned salt


Parsley


Garlic pepper





In bottom of pan put ketchup, mustard, relish,


barbecue sauce and spices. Place beans in pan. Slice hot dogs thinly and quickly pre-cook in frying pan. Cook hamburger, drain both and place in pan with beans. Cook bacon, break and put in pan. Mix all ingredients together (I use my hands). Since all ingredients are cooked, just heat to taste at 350潞 for 40-60 minutes.








HOT DOG AND HAMBURGER PIE


1 pound lean ground beef


4 hot dogs , cut into 1/4-inch slices


1 (15 ounce) can baked beans


1/2 cup ketchup


2 tablespoons brown sugar


2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard


2 ounces Cheddar cheese, cubed


1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix


4 slices processed American cheese


1 (9 inch) deep dish pie shell





Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Bake empty pie shell for 10 minutes. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, stirring occasionally to crumble; drain fat. Stir in hot dogs, beans, ketchup, mustard, taco seasoning, and cheese cubes. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Spread beef mixture into baked pie shell. Cut American cheese slices into strips, and make a lattice on top of pie. Bake for 5 to 10 minute, or until cheese is slightly melted.








RIGATONI AND HAM BAKE


3 c. rigatoni


2 c. diced cooked ham


1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese


1 jar 4 cheese alfredo sauce


1/2 cup milk


1/2 c. crushed ritz crackers


butter





Heat oven to 350 degrees. Boil water (2 quart) in a large deep pot with 2 teaspoons salt and 1 tablespoon oil (to prevent boiling over). Add rigatoni noodles, stir to separate. Cook uncovered until water comes to a full rolling boil for 10-11 minutes, stir occasionally. Drain and rinse under hot water. In a large bowl, combine cooked rigatoni, ham and 1 cup cheese. In a medium saucepan, mix milk with alfredo sauce. Combine sauce with rigatoni mixture. Turn into 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with ritz crackers and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.








TATER TOTS AND BEEF


1 lb. ground beef


1 sm. onion (diced)


1 can cream of mushroom soup


Tater tots





Brown ground beef and add onion. Cook until onion is clear. Put in bottom of 1 quart casserole. Cover with mushroom soup. Top with tater tots. Bake 350 degrees until tater tots are brown.What are some good lunch or dinner recipes for a picky 4-year-old?

how are they picky? likes/dislikes? PBJ is always cool - maybe some chicken nuggets?
That was my dilemma when I had visitors for a couple of weeks, a 5 year old boy. He loved cheese slices, string cheese, cheese anything. It was a quick healthy snack and he could get it himself.





Also pretty much any sandwich AS LONG AS I cut the crust off the bread and cut the sandwich into fours (diagonally twice). He wouldn't touch it if it wasn't that way.





And almost anything someone else was eating, lol.
try the good old pbj
Mac %26amp; Cheese, Grilled Cheese, Ham Sandwich, Pasta?
sumthin good but give him a small snack with it n make sure he has a drink
