Eggless recipes for classroom treats?

My son's classmate is allergic to eggs! Anyone know any cupcake or cookie recipes that are eggless? Or any other classroom treat ideas for the upcoming holidays?Eggless recipes for classroom treats?

Serves: 20


2-1/2 cups boiling water


2 pkg. (85 g each) JELL-O Orange Jelly Powder


STIR boiling water into dry jelly powder in large bowl at least 3 min. until completely dissolved. Pour into 13x9-inch pan.


REFRIGERATE 3 hours or until firm.


DIP pan in warm water 15 sec.; unmould jelly mixture onto cutting board. Cut into 20 decorative shapes, using 2-inch Halloween-shaped cookie cutters, making sure to cut all of the way through jelly mixture to cutting board. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator








Chocolate Spiders


Serves: Makes about 3 dozen or 36 servings, 1 spider each.





6 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped


1 cup BAKER'S Butterscotch Chips


2 cups chow mein noodles


1 cup each miniature marshmallows and salted peanuts


MIX chopped chocolate and butterscotch chips in large microwaveable bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM 3 to 4 minutes or until chocolate and butterscotch chips start to melt; stir until chocolate and butterscotch chips are completely melted and mixture is well blended.


ADD remaining ingredients; mix well. Drop tablespoonfuls of the noodle mixture onto wax paper-covered baking sheets.


REFRIGERATE at least 30 minutes or until firm. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.





But Chow Mein noodles might have egg.Eggless recipes for classroom treats?
I wouldn't have chosen it as a best answer, it didn't even have anything to do with the question. No intelligent parent would send jello off to school, hel-lo it'll melt! And no teacher would appreciate chocolate. I only wish that I could've caught this sooner. NOT A GOOD ANSWER! Report Abuse

Also, try using an egg suplement powder
Try no bake cookies. They are super easy to make....your son can help. Plus they have no egg. They are sooo good. Here is a recipe:


2 cups sugar


4 tbs cocoa


dash of salt


1/2 cup butter


1/2 cup milk


1/2 cup peanut buter


3 cups quick cooking oats


1 tsp vanilla





Combine ingredients.


Bring to boil and cook for 90 seconds.


Remove from heat


Stir in 1/2 cup peanut butter, disolve


Add 3 cups quick cooking oats


Add 1 tsp vanilla


Mix well.


Drop by teasponfulls onton cookie sheet. Cool for 30 minutes or until set

Poor Man's Cookies


2 cups oats (quick or old fashioned)


1 cup packed brown sugar


1/2 cup white sugar


1 cup all-purpose flour


1/2 teaspoon salt


1 teaspoon baking soda


1/4 cup hot water


1/2 cup shortening or margarine (melted and cooled)


1 teaspoon vanilla


Optional: 1/2 cup raisins


In a mixing bowl, combine oats, sugars, flour and salt. Mix well. Combine soda and hot water; stir into oat mixture along with shortening and vanilla (mixture will be crumbly). Roll or squeeze into walnut-size balls.





Place on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350掳 for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven; allow to stand 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool. Yields about 3 1/2 dozen.
